This lovely restored cottage and new studio is the last home at the end of South Terrace (the cappuccino strip). Situated in South Fremantle within a few hundred metres of South Fremantle Village with its restaurants and shops with cuisine ranging from Italian, Japanese, Burmese, Vietnamese, German to "Freo Fusion".
Situated directly opposite a park and shady South Beach this comfortable holiday home is superbly located for swimming, fishing, walking, cycling and beach barbeques -and is very close to a fresh seafood market - sit on the front verandah and look across the park to the sea beyond. It is an easy 2km walk into Fremantle centre or use the free and frequent CAT bus - stops just across the park.
The accommodation arrangements are in the tradition of the celebrated Fremantle style with the fully restored cottage at the front separated by a courtyard from the self-contained studio built above a double garage facing an adjacent street. The master bedroom with queen-size bed is on the ground floor with an interesting upper bedroom with easy access via wooden stairs from the living area. The private, secure courtyard has an outdoor setting and a BBQ for fine weather living.
The rear studio can be used totally separately from the cottage or both can be used for a group travelling together. The telephone and modem use is shared with the studio.
The cottage sleeps a maximum of 5 people and is especially suited to families. Just relax and enjoy getting in touch with nature ... and feeding the body as well as the soul by trying one of the myriad restaurants and cafes just over the park!!
