Sea from Solomon is a contemporary 3 level home built with style. The imaginative and creative architecture has paid attention to detail. It features limestone walls, rich timber floors, solid internal wooden doors and staircases, cathedral raked ceilings, leadlight windows, and full length steel frame external doors and windows.
It is situated in a quiet heritage residential district of Fremantle, on a site that was part of the precinct where Fremantle’s historic Bottling Company, Letchford & Co aerated water manufacturer, was located. Set on a hill, Sea from Solomon offers some of the best views over the port city and beyond to the ocean horizon.
The entry on the ground floor is via a pretty courtyard garden, with a provincial water fountain and leads to an intimate lobby space. A study, bedroom, bathroom and indoor/outdoor leisure area are located on the ground floor.
An exquisite wooden staircase gently ascends to the dining area, lounge and kitchen, where meals can be prepared while taking in the amazing view and then eaten either indoors or out on the balcony either watching the sun go down or taking in the lights of the town and Fishing Boat Harbour, depending on the time of the year.
Also on this level, a master bedroom (with en-suite and dressing room) provides a secluded and relaxing space from which there are marvellous views of the evening lights while a very private space in the study on the third level affords an even broader and expansive view of the ocean beyond the city of Fremantle.
