Sited at the rear of a small complex of apartments, on South Terrace just past the intersection of Wray Avenue and South Terrace, this one bedroom apartment has both a great location and lovely airy light, space and peace. Although it is on the third floor and this involves some stairs, the benefit is gained from the open outlook to the south and the north balcony being at treetop level.
Entry from the south side is into a dining area with the kitchen on the left. This large room flows through to the comfortable sitting area with a converta-double sofa bed and another two-seater couch. A good size flat screen TV, DVD player, and telephone are supplied in this area. There is free wireless, internet access and local phone calls are also included in the price. This area has full reverse cycle air-conditioning.
At the rear of the sitting area a door opens to a long balcony to the north giving lovely light and also a great view into the life of birds, as you see into the branches of a heritage tree in the adjacent garden.
A short hall to the left has doors to both a good size bathroom (shower, toilet), and laundry (washbasin, washing machine) and on the other side to a large bedroom with double bed, reading lights and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
Permit parking for one car is available at the rear of the complex.
Easy pedestrian access from the back of the units leads to Wray Avenue and an excellent butcher and grocer.
Walking distance to central Fremantle (about 0.5 km to the townhall) and 300m to the Fremantle Markets.
