Formed from the original house is a lovely cottage and garden studio; all on the ground floor. Above is a new, large apartment that is totally separate apart from the entry also being behind “the green door”. This apartment is NOT part of the short-stay accommodation.
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent quality furnishings make this a most elegant and comfortable accommodation. Internally, the cottage consists of a beautiful kitchen and dining area near the entry and towards the rear is the sitting area with TV and DVD. To the right is a spacious king bedroom with the bathroom and laundry opening to one side. French doors allow direct access to the lovely green lawn and olive tree garden. There is also a small bedroom with a king single bed and good size rollaway to the left off the main room (this is the only room not airconditioned).
In the garden, separately locked, is a lovely studio, also looking onto the garden. This studio has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet and reverse cycle airconditioning. If the studio is required then the cost for two people is the same as a three bedroom, two bathroom accommodation i.e. there is an extra charge. Please request details.
The cottage and studio can normally only be let together as there are no laundry or cooking facilities in the studio. However, sometimes the studio may occasionally be used for guests of the residents in the upper apartment.
One carparking space is available off-street in front of the Green Door.
The excellent location offers access to all of the quirky and delightful cafes of South Fremantle Village as well as easy access to beautiful South Beach with safe swimming there. The facilities of the Fremantle Sailing club are only several hundred metres away; CAT bus (free and frequent circle bus route) passes down South Terrace ensuring rapid transport all over central Fremantle and South Fremantle.
